Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Supply Officer  (f/m) to join our Supply Management Avionics team based in Toulouse, France.

You will join the Procurement of Equipment/Systems department which supplies equipment for Avionics and Cockpit for all Plants/ FALs and all Aircrafts Programmes.

Your main role will consist of managing the supply and ordering activities for a portfolio of suppliers and preparing the future industrial challenges as Ramp up, introduction of New Product. You will also collaborate to the digital transformation journey, and contribute to initiative aiming upgrading the value delivered to our customer

Your challenges:

1)New Product Introduction: facilitate the introduction of new product or modifications, negotiate with suppliers for logistics and ordering solutions.

2)Forecast/Call up / Order and VMI Management:​

• Define and maintain supply related contractual data, contained in Logistics Conditions (e.g.  max-min levels for VMI parts, delivery lead time,..) in the frame of standard policies and contractual requirements.

• Analyse MRP and Supply External Product exception messages 

• Manage purchase orders and forecasts sent to the suppliers, including collaboration process

• Manage D1 collaboration process, initiate proactive actions.

• Manage reordering tasks after rejection, scraps/damages and collaborate in the secondary flow

3)Customer protection

• Ensure the product qualification pre-requisites are in line before to launch the ordering

• Lead actions to reduce missing parts and late deliveries: early warning to the customer and hierarchy, risk management, follow up deliveries and instigate mitigation actions

• Incoming goods follow-up for shortages.

4)Stock optimisation:

• Monitor inventory levels and stock turns based on defined targets

• Define the optimum logistic solution and ordering solutions (safety stock/safety time, batch size, reorder point, demand volatility)

• Manage Non-movers/Slow movers 

5)Continuous Improvement

• Perform supply chain monitoring through process performance measures and KPIs (Ordering measures, Missing parts, D1, Stock KPI’s, VMI Level of Service)

• Perform root cause analysis (such as PPS/8D) and monitor supplier problem solving activities.

• Participate to supplier performance reviews/provide performance feedback to suppliers.

• Initiate and coordinate improvement activities in his scope of ownership.

This role will involve some travels for business once / semester and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Your boarding pass:

• At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Ordering activities

• MRP II knowledge highly expected: BASICS and/or CPIM Certification would be a plus

• Strong IT knowledge on Microsoft pack Office, Google Suite, SAP PGI-PEA.

• Skills on Digital IT tools using python, icloud technology, data analytics.

• Good communication, agility and leadership is a key to success in this position.

• Project Management LBIP+ principles

• Language Skills: negotiation level of English. French will be plus.
