We are seeking a Fleet Mechanic to support our operations by maintaining and repairing a variety of company vehicles and equipment. This role involves working on cars, trucks, off-road equipment, and small tools in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. The ideal candidate is dedicated to safety, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and understands the importance of keeping our fleet running reliably.

What You'll Do

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles and equipment, including:
  • Engines, transmissions, clutches
  • Suspension, steering, brakes, and HVAC systems
  • Electrical systems, fuel and ignition (gas and diesel)
• Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency roadside repairs when needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to maximize safety, uptime, and lifespan of fleet assets.
• Follow proper documentation procedures including mileage/hours, warranty parts, repair records, and parts ordering/billing.
• Perform maintenance and repair welding on equipment.
• Maintain a general understanding of DOT regulations
• Support other fleet and shop duties as assigned by leadership.

What You'll Have

• School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining cars, trucks, off-road equipment, and/or small engines.
• Working knowledge of:
  • Automotive and diesel systems
  • Small engines and construction-related equipment
• Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• General computer competency for work orders and service documentation.
• Strong commitment to working safely at all times.

Work Environment

• Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
• All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
• Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
• Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
• Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
• Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Legal Stuff

• Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
• Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
• Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
