We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Scheduler to join our team at Regional West Medical Center. You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient procedures and tests within our Medical Center. This role ensures efficient scheduling, proper communication with patients and healthcare providers, and adherence to the hospital’s policies and procedures.  A scheduler plays a key role in optimizing the daily operations of the medical center while providing excellent customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a fast-paced medical setting
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Experience working with electronic medical records and billing systems

Responsibilities:

• Handle outbound and inbound calls, emails, and messages related to scheduling needs for our providers and patients
• Schedules, reschedules and cancels  procedural appointments based on provider availability and patient needs
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to coordinate patient care
