The classification and compensation are pending Board of Supervisors approval. The anticipated Board approval date is November 4, 2025.

While this position will oversee a wide range of administrative functions, the primary focus will be on the department’s financial management and oversight responsibilities. The selected candidate will play a key role in budget development, monitoring, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with County policies and sound fiscal practices. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems is essential, as this role will include active utilization and oversight of the department’s accounting software for financial transactions, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will bring both technical financial expertise and the ability to provide strategic guidance on fiscal operations to support informed decision-making across the department.
TYPICAL TASKS AND REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A combination of education, training, and experience resulting in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of qualifying education and experience includes:
Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business or public administration, accounting, or a closely related field. In addition, two years as an Administrative Officer or other progressively responsible professional-level experience in finance or accounting, human resources, or other administrative functions, including two years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
