The Sr. HR Manager will play a pivotal role leading a team of area HRBPs that are responsible for providing solutions, thought partnership and business talent strategies for Mexico Manufacturing sites. The Sr. HR Manager will provide guidance, support and governance for key HR programs, best practices, and people solutions to the business. Provide strategic consultation and coaching to Mexico’s leadership team and will contribute to the growth of the business and the team
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a combination of a High School Diploma and 12 years of progressive experience in HR roles.
• Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with diverse clients and team members.
• Minimum of 10 years’ professional work in Human Resources functions with client-facing responsibilities including experience working in Manufacturing and Supply Chain environments.
• Travel national and international (USA) is required 10-30%
• HR change agent who thrives in ambiguity, is flexible, and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assess HR implications of business strategies and priorities.
• Ability to use data and reporting to drive strategic decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate across global matrixed organizations to optimize outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate plans into phased actions.
• Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness
• Ability to lead by example reflecting strong emotional intelligence in all situations aligned to LYB Competencies.
• Supportive team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment; ability to diffuse a tense situation.
• Applies solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality
• Strong problem-solving skills: ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities.
• Sound working knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements.
