Job Summary
As Senior Manager, Sales Operations & Business Analysis, you play a strategic and coordinating role within Maurice Lacroix's commercial division. This senior position is responsible for optimizing commercial performance, managing global sales operations, and delivering actionable business intelligence to enable effective decision-making by the Sales Director and Executive Committee.
Acting as the nerve center of the sales organization, this role ensures commercial alignment across markets, maintains critical sales infrastructure (data, tools, processes), and drives operational excellence to elevate Maurice Lacroix's position in a competitive luxury watch market.
General Responsibilities
Sales Operations Leadership
Lead and manage the global sales operations team, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with strategic objectives.
Define and continuously improve sales processes, operational flows, and data accuracy across all markets and distribution channels.
Serve as the key liaison between the sales team and cross-functional departments (Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Product, and IT).
Ensure effective sales enablement through the maintenance and evolution of Salesforce and SAP systems.
Strategic Business Analysis
Provide comprehensive commercial analysis to guide strategy, pricing, territory management, and channel performance.
Own the development and optimization of KPIs, dashboards, and sales reports, ensuring visibility into market trends, sell-in/sell-out dynamics, and customer behavior.
Deliver regular strategic insights to the Sales Director and Executive Leadership to inform key business decisions.
Forecasting, Budgeting & Performance Management
Oversee and coordinate the forecasting and annual budgeting process in partnership with Finance and Country Sales Managers.
Support sales planning and revenue tracking, with a focus on profitability (EBIT), net sales, and net operating capital (NOC).
Monitor sales target achievement across regions and partners, flagging risks and opportunities proactively.
Customer & Data Management
Ensure accuracy and completeness of customer and product master data for automated reporting and CRM-based analytics.
Support CRM strategy execution (Salesforce), including user adoption, data quality, and performance tracking.
Lead the integration of advanced analytics and digital tools to enhance customer insights and lifecycle management.
Project Management & Launch Execution
Act as the operational lead for key initiatives such as new product launches, promotional campaigns, and international sales events.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure timely execution, from demand planning to post-launch review.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
Degree in Business, Economics, Sales or Engineering. MBA is a plus.
7–10+ years in Sales Operations, Business Analysis, or Commercial Strategy within a luxury goods or consumer brand environment.
Proven ability to manage and oversee team performance to achieve functional and organizational goals.
Strong understanding of the watch or premium/luxury goods industry.
Expertise in Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and SAP ERP systems.
Deep knowledge of international sales practices and operations (wholesale, retail, and distribution).
Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
High fluency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and CRM/reporting automation tools.
Fluent in English and French. German is a plus.
Strong leadership and influencing abilities across cultures and geographies.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced and high-demand environment.
Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
