Responsibilities:

• Following all safety rules and procedures and environmental standards applicable to our process and facility
• Teamwork effort and involvement to meet all goals.

• Work safely and follow all established plant policies and procedures. (LOTO)
• Possesses a strong mechanical aptitude and electrical aptitude applicable to a manufacturing environment.

• Follows directions and shows attention to detail.
• Shows a desire to keep improving in skills and knowledge.
• Must utilize the I-Maint program for daily duties and input information.
• Keep the work area and job site clean, neat, and safe.
• Assist in training Apprentices and Intermediate Maintenance team members.
• Good troubleshooting skills utilizing manuals, schematics, and manufacturing technical support line.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Must possess a good math skill and almost have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must possess a technical trade or pass GBP Pulaski, TN apprenticeship or have equivalent experience

Experience: 1-2 years in a production or maintenance environment, preferably in a corrugated box plant.
Must have a strong knowledge of electrical and PLC (480VAC, 600VDC, networks, drives, communications, programs), also a strong expertise in mechanical (pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, gear train driven equipment), knowledge in plumbing, pneumatic, water, and steam, as well as welding, torch cutting, and fabricating what is needed.
Computer Skills: Personal Computer
Certificates & Licenses: Must be certified to drive a forklift and aerial lift.
Other Requirements: Able to communicate with team members.
