The right Santa’s List Elf Performer checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.

The Santa’s List Elf Performer may act, sing and/or dance in a scripted experience under the direction of the show’s director, musical director, or producer to provide park guests with a world class entertainment experience.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.

Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform as a specific, workshop elf role
• Convey memorized dialogue
• Follow directions as set forth by the show’s Director, Musical Director, Supervisor or Producer
• Interact with Guests while remaining in character promoting the ultimate experience, meeting Santa
• After the initial rehearsal period, the individual performer is responsible for upkeep and maintenance of Santa’s List Elf role throughout each production of Santa’s List while interacting with guests from the beginning of Santa’s Elf que line to meeting Santa.
• Be mindful of safety while escorting guests through Santa’s List Experience
• Following initial technical training, you must be able to operate an iPad, a printer, and communicate any technical issues in a timely manner
• Must wear assigned costume
• Maintain line throughput to optimize line speed within assigned areas of the experience
• Use workshopped improvisational skills to interact with the guests

Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time

Education and Experience Required

• Must be 14 years of age or older
• Experience performing solo or in an ensemble
• Knowledge of and experience with interpreting dialogue
• Professional experience working in a theme park, cruise ships, professional theater, etc. preferred
• Formal training in voice, dance, and/or acting preferred
• Improvisation performance experience a plus
• Must have a good speaking voice that projects well
• Must be able to memorize scripts
• Over 17: Must be able to pass a background check

• Able to make a friendly impression when speaking to or corresponding with guests, vendors, and other employees
• Must reflect Dollywood’s image by being genuinely friendly and caring and by taking pride in work
