About the Role
We are looking for an After School Programs Site Coordinator who will be in charge of the planning, implementation, and administration of after-school programs for students. 

Schedule: We need availability to supervise day and after care (Monday to Friday Mornings 6.30am to 7:45am - Afternoons 2.30 to 6pm and only on Wednesdays 1.20pm to 6pm)

Responsabilities

• Research and stay up-to-date on best practices in youth development, recreational education, and after-school programming.
• Support curriculum plans and activities for each program, ensuring they are educational, safe, and fun.
• Ensure program alignment with HOKALI's mission and values, promoting a healthy lifestyle, environmental respect, and personal growth.

• Coordinate the logistics of all programs, including activity scheduling, facility booking and transportation when necessary.
• Oversee and manage the budget allocated to after-school programs, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and HOKALI's internal policies across all activities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of attendance, participant progress, and any incidents.
• Manage the inventory of equipment and materials needed for the programs.
• Train and supervise a large team of instructors and supervisors ensuring they have the appropriate skills and attitude for working with children.
• Provide ongoing guidance and support to program staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Handle inquiries, complaints, or difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Identify areas for improvement in program design, implementation, and management.
• Meets and reports regularly to the Area Manager regarding program, site and staff performance.

Requirements

• An educational background in education, child development, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Passion for education and working with kids.
• Strong leadership and professionalism skills when working with schools and students.
• Experience working in schools and leading large teams.
• Ability to engage and inspire students in a fun and educational environment.
• Ability and willingness to complete 6 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
