Position Overview

Hatalom Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our on-site team. This individual will play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of our next-generation AI system, while also supporting the continued enhancement of the Hatalom Asset Tracking System (HATS). The ideal candidate will bring strong software engineering expertise, hands-on AI/ML development experience, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment supporting mission-critical projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, coding, testing, and deployment of software solutions for Hatalom’s AI platform and HATS system.
  • Develop and integrate AI/ML models into production applications to support automation, data analysis, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX developers, cybersecurity engineers, and system administrators to deliver secure, user-friendly, and scalable solutions.
  • Support full software lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, integration, and sustainment.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to establishing best practices in DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Participate in technical reviews, code quality checks, and ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity and government standards (e.g., STIGs, FedRAMP, DFARS).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including supporting on-site deployments and customer environments.
  • Document design decisions, workflows, and system configurations to support knowledge transfer and long-term sustainment.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and experience with frameworks/libraries (e.g., .NET, React, Node.js).
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML development (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCC High, AWS, or similar) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with government contracts, DoD systems, or similar environments.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Prior contributions to enterprise-level AI or data-driven systems.
  • Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one.
