As a Process Technician, you’ll be the guardian of our production equipment, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine. You’ll tackle equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with our Quality team to keep our production top-notch. Your critical thinking and problem-solving skills will help maintain our high standards and contribute to our ongoing success, all while collaborating with a team to keep our production lines running smoothly.

Here’s a Glimpse Into Your World:

• Ensure all production equipment is running to Flexcraft efficiency standards.  When problems cannot be resolved, seek help before efficiency thresholds are exceeded.
• Assist in the diagnosis and repair of production equipment and/or tooling with the maintenance and engineering staff. 
• Competitive pay and benefits for all shifts and additional $3/hr shift differential for being a night owl

• Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot molding machines and auxiliary equipment. 
• Assist in completing preventative maintenance on production equipment. 
• Perform mold changes and startup of injection molding and blow molding machines in accordance with established protocols and procedures. 
• Perform preventative mold maintenance to ensure all tooling is cleaned/prepped and tagged/staged properly per standard work instructions. 
• Clean material handling equipment such as blenders, granulators, and vacuum loaders.
• Collaborate with Quality department to determine the root cause and corrective action of quality issues.
• Use measurement devices such as calipers, height gages, scales, pin gages, magna mikes, etc to ensure that products are meeting quality specifications.
• Complete all documentation associated with the setup, maintenance, and adjustment of production equipment.
• Maintain a safe working environment and maintain good housekeeping of workspace. 
• Assist in training and development of new team members. 
• Required to attend off-hour training sessions as scheduled

To Be Successful You’ll Need:

• A passion for problem-solving and a can-do attitude.
• Minimum of HS Diploma or GED.  Preferably has completed some college courses and/or 2 years relevant experience.
• Has ability to use and read measurement equipment such as rulers, tape measures, and calipers
• Has the ability to complete Technician Training Programs
• Enter data in the IQMS or equivalent system.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Has the ability to use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thermometers etc.)
• A passion for problem-solving and a can-do attitude.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.
• Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
• A willingness to learn and grow.

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Experience in GMP, ISO 9001:20015, lean manufacturing, 5S, process troubleshooting, and root cause identification are key components of this position. 
• Should have good mechanical aptitude, be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and have general knowledge of hand tools.
