Job Title: Out-of-School Time Lead Staff
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Type: Part-Time
Reports to: Site Coordinator/Director
Primarily hiring for Myers Wilkins Elementary School.

Summary/Objective
The Lead Staff is responsible for assisting the coordinator in facilitating a high-quality out-of-school time program and ensuring goals are being achieved. Along with supporting a safe and engaging learning environment for youth in the program.

Work Environment
This position operates in area schools and community centers and serves elementary aged youth. Other work environments include off-site field trips during summer or all-day programming, and supervising children outdoors in different types of weather.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part time position. Typical Hours, Monday-Friday 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (times will vary depending on the needs of the site). Some weekend and evening hours for staff development and training. It is expected that lead staff engage in direct service during program hours and are in the ratio. They are allowed up to one hour of prep work each day to help prep activities and do administrative tasks. On average, lead staff members should be working 20-25 hours per week according to site specific hours; 5 hours of prep work outside of program time along with direct service with youth. Lead staff should not be spending the majority of their time doing administrative work. During summer and break day programming, hours would vary between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

There will be some traveling locally for staff trainings and field trips.
