WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The ideal Cash Room Auditor for Bear Creek has cash handling experience, is detail oriented and able to analyze and resolve cash handling discrepancies. This position will be an important member of the Accounting team, ensuring the accuracy of cash counts for the point of sale system transactions and providing reports throughout the organization. Accuracy is key in this position. The right person will help account for and protect the cash assets for the organization.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Count safe in a secure manner and balance daily. Reconcile any discrepancies
  • Collect cash bags from areas through the resort
  • Reconcile cash bags against transactions recorded in various systems. Resolve discrepancies between cash bags and reports.
  • Reset cash bags to beginning amount
  • Run daily transaction reports and combine into one report to be distributed to Senior Management and relevant departments
  • Audit restaurant, retail and other outlet receipts and rectify any errors
  • Verify all checks are closed in the POS (point of Sale) system

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM ALL BCMR TEAM MEMBERS:

  • Acknowledge all guests and respond promptly to their needs, however busy and whatever time of day. Ensure unresolved incidents are reported to Manager/Supervisor
  • Familiarity with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
  • Contribute to the team's success by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as needed
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance with departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
  • Work as a team member to ensure our guests have the best possible experience
  • Understand emergency procedures and be able to apply them when necessary
  • Report any incidents, property damage or injuries immediately to Manager/Supervisor
  • Attend department meetings and training sessions as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Supervisor
