Summary: The Credentialing Support Specialist is an administrative role with responsibility for special projects as assigned, ticketing system, insurance commercial revalidations, manage directory & commercial credentialing portals.

Responsibilities
30-34 Hours per week / Remote or in office options
Job Responsibilities / Functions
Maintain Portals
Commercial directory portals for both locations & providers
Availity, Lexis Nexis, Better Doc, Ashlink, UHC, etc.
Ticketing System (Freshworks)
Credentialing Inquiries
Billing inquiries
Authorization inquiries
Mail received at clinic
Location changes
Name changes
Out of network inquiries
Special Projects
Lockbox updates
Clinic Closures
Collect preliminary information for DeNovos, Tuck Ins, Relocations
Monitor revalidation dates for Commercial payers
BCBS, PTPN, Global Health, etc
Works with Credentialing Manager and/or Vice President of Managed Care to assist with projects as needed.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
Education: Some college coursework is desired.
Experience 1 or more years’ experience in provider credentialing or related area is required.
Skills & Knowledge
- Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented. Great at follow through.
- Excellent multi-tasker in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills and proven ability to collaborate with different constituencies and manage tasks to ensure deadlines are met and a quality product is produced.
- AmaZing! customer service ethic and high expectations for quality.
- Proficient using online software applications as well as the latest versions of Google Apps, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with OneView is a plus!
