Buck Creek Veterinary Clinic has an immediate opening for a full-time receptionist. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent care to clients and pets. Experience in the veterinary field is preferred but not required. 

Job Details:

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

• Welcoming clients and pets to a clean, well organized environment
• Efficiently answer phone calls and providing accurate information
• Maintaining a well balance schedule of appointments for a multi doctor practice as well as grooming and boarding
• Obtaining accurate information from clients to ensure records are up to date
• Ability to explain and process a variety of payment options with clients

Candidate skill requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Veterinary medication experience is recommended but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - email, scanning, excel, word
• Ability to adjust to change quickly
• Strong phone etiquette skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy reception area

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
