About the role

Kings Meadows Frame & Truss are currently seeking a Casual Team Member to join the team. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment we are excited to meet with you and discuss the opportunity to join the Truss team.

This is a casual position working shifts across Monday to Friday, with the potential to become a permanent full time. The successful candidate will have a strong team ethic, be motivated, and capable of operating our saw infrastructure. You must also be reliable and able to work effectively in an unsupervised environment.

What you will be doing

• Picking timber for cutting
• Manufacturing of wall frames and floor and roof trusses
• Operating manual and computerised saws
• Manual handlings tasks include but not limited to the lifting and carrying of timber

What you will bring

• Demonstrate a strong customer focus
• Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
• Must be physically fit and able to be on your feet all day
• An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
• Ability to be available for work across the 5 days of the week
• Previous experience in the Frame & Truss industry is desired but not essential
