Description

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or a Certified Nurse Midwife at our Kearny Mesa Health Center.

Bring your passion for reproductive healthcare to life by providing high-quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling. You’ll also be a go-to medical resource, supporting and empowering both licensed and non-licensed team members.

This role is considered Full-Time/Fully-Benefited (at 32 hours/week with a 4 day work schedule and every-other-Saturday required) and is designed for Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or a Certified Nurse Midwife licensed in the state of California.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Collaborate with other Healthcare providers, Physicians, and Management on patient care and clinical improvements.
  • Partner with a Case Management team, which will communicate with patients on lab results, referrals, and other aspects of patient care.
  • Gain new skills such as IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, Cryotherapy, Bartholin Cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT (Gender Affirming Hormone therapy).
  • Receive a rigorous training and on-boarding program similar to a fellowship.

  • We are looking for Nurse Practitioners or a Physician Assistants or a Certified Nurse Midwives who:

  • Hold an active California license as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or a Certified Nurse Midwife.
  • Are eager to work in an environment that supports the agency’s commitment to equity and belonging. 
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
  • Demonstrate compassion in providing patient care and supporting staff.  
  • Are willing to jump in to help with coverage if need be. 
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (highly preferred).
