PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Do you thrive as a hands-on problem solver in a fast-paced field environment, where challenges inspire innovative solutions? As the Supervisor Signals & Communications (S&C), you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of S&C equipment and systems, which are essential for supporting the efficient movement of trains and equipment across the network. Your key responsibilities will include conducting electrical and mechanical testing of S&C equipment, inspecting and commissioning new installations, and overseeing modifications to existing systems, all while maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.

Medical and Drug Testing
This is a safety sensitive position and a successful pre-employment medical assessment including physical, vision, hearing, and a negative company drug test is required. Post hire qualification drug testing may also be required.

Management Conductor Program
Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
