In the role of Temporary Procurement Assistant on our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for receiving requisitions from Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) teams, entering pertinent data into SAP ERP and generating purchase orders. Other duties include sending purchase orders to suppliers and following up as needed; providing detailed and time-sensitive administrative support due to the nature of the MRO process and inherent requirements generated from multiple bids, Certificate of Analysis (COA), appropriate approvals, and maintaining detailed documentation for auditing. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain.

Location & Hours
This part-time temporary role may be performed in a hybrid capacity with time in our Hopland offices especially during initial training and onboarding. Future opportunity for remote work may be considered. Average hours per week are estimated to be 20 hours/week with the potential of increasing to 32 hours/week depending on workload and schedules. We anticipate the assignment to last through the end of 2025/early 2026.
Must Requirements
During busy periods, effort will be made to provide employees with adequate advance notice should overtime become necessary. All overtime work must have the prior authorization of the employee’s supervisor before it is performed.

Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. on an occasional basis; push and pull up to 30 lbs. on an occasional basis; ability to sit and work at a desk for long periods of time; requires ability to walk and stand; reach outward and upward, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend; requires hand and finger dexterity for keyboarding and working at computer for extended periods of time.
Compensation The hourly range for this role is $25 to $30 per hour. Actual rates will vary and are based on a candidate’s relevant education, qualifications, experience, skillset, competencies, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.
