The Retail Sales Auditor, will report to the Manager, Accounting and will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and integrity of transactions. This includes but is not limited to identifying and improving the efficiency of sales processes to reduce the loss of revenue while maintaining company policies.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Reviewing and verifying daily sales transactions from Point of Sale (POS) systems and other sources to ensure they are recorded correctly
• Balancing cash receipts with recorded sales, reconciling bankcard transactions, and resolving any discrepancies (e.g., cash over/shorts)
• Investigating and correcting errors, researching customer complaints, and providing support for credit card chargebacks
• Knowledge of banking – wires, deposits, reconciliations
• Identifying recurring issues or patterns in sales data to suggest solutions and improvements to sales processes and systems
• Ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place to prevent fraud, minimize losses, and maintain compliance with established company policies
