PCSI is looking for experienced Cashier for Ft. Hood. This position will report to the Assistant Dining Facility Manager. Typical work hours will be: 07:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Weekend Shift: Sat & Sun 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 11a.m. - 7:30 p.m., with monthly rotation.
Benefits Include:
- Base pay $17.75hr depending upon experience.
- additional allowance every hour worked: uniform $0.15, Shift differential$0.20 after 1:00pm

What you'll do as a Cashier:
- Understand or become extensively familiar with Point of Sale (POS) cash register data entry procedures as supported by the Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS).
- Adhere to the procedures outlined by the Dining Manager.
- Follow company guidelines and procedures.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the company and a favorable image of PCSI.
- Ability to match diners’ identification documents to faces.

What you'll need to be successful:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one (1) year of prior experience working in a customer service role, cash register experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to climb, bend, squat, push, lift and carry objects ranging from 10-30 pounds; prolong standing up to 90%.
- Knowledge of basic mental math calculations.
- Knowledge of interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
- Ability to follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, contract officials, and government officials.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and touch screen monitor is required.
- Seeing to read a variety of materials is necessary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to assist and communicate orally with others as needed.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening. Must be able to obtain a government common access card and pass all government required computer usage tests.
- Ability to work two and a half hour or more shifts, three times per day; work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
- If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
