Our Automotive Solutions Group is seeking interest for a DevOps Engineer.

As a DevOps Engineer you will play a key role in modernizing our tech stack and architecture while ensuring the stability of our existing applications. You will provide technical leadership and mentorship, set engineering best practices, and partner with architects to evaluate trade-offs and shape scalable solutions. In this role, you will influence both technology and team development, balancing innovation with delivery to create lasting value for our users.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services primarily in Java and Go
• Support and modernize applications within Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform environments
• Collaborate with architects to assess feasibility, trade-offs, and scalability of proposed solutions
• Establish and advocate for software engineering best practices (code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability)
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members
• Contribute to and maintain clear technical documentation
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and development environments

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in backend software development (Java, Go preferred)
• Proven experience with cloud-native architecture and infrastructure-as-code
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Familiarity with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership
• Track record of delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems

Skills

• Strong coding and debugging skills in Java and Go
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Knowledge of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to balance trade-offs between speed, quality, and maintainability
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
