POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Supply Lead assists the supervisor to achieve department goals in safety, quality, efficiency and yield. The Production Lead reports to the department supervisor and assists in the operation of a set of specific processes within the department. This position is designed to be a career path to higher supervisory positions within the company
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of conventional management and warehouse fundamental
- An eye for details
- Cycle Counting knowledge
- Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Inventory Reconciliation Knowledge helpful
- Leadership skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must have the ability to anticipate and solve problems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as this position will be very hands on with communicating with Vendors, Sales and Production Mangers.
- Bachelor’s degree from four year college or one to two years related experience.
- Considerable knowledge of processing operations
- Considerable knowledge of supervisory management practices and principles
- Considerable knowledge of production management practices and principles
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Marked ability to analyze and respond to production issues involving production processes
