Teacher of Health and Physical Education

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Health and Physical Education to engage with and inspire our girls and boys at Grimwade House, commencing in 2026. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and teaching a comprehensive curriculum using a technology-rich, explicit, integrated and inquiry-based approach
• Assessing and differentiating learning for the needs of all students 
• Running a class where children thrive 
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure innovative teaching and learning practices are continually improved 
• Select and prepare school representatives and individuals for School Sport Victoria events
• Participating in all aspects of school life beyond the classroom.

You will:

• Be an exceptional teacher whose professional practice and values aligns with the School and our approach to a holistic education
• Possess exceptional interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build authentic, collaborative relationships with students, staff and parents
• Have a collaborative and collegial approach to sharing experience and knowledge
• Be supported to participate in external professional development opportunities

VIT registration, or the ability to gain this, is essential for this position.
