In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:
• Direction of project management and planning, completion of facility engineering designs, and the systems validation and verification for facility requirements sign off.
• Coordination of employee recruitment, employee selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Plan and formulate engineering program and organize project staff according to requirements. This activity supports all FBM Operations at Kings Bay, GA, Silverdale, WA, Cape Canaveral SFS, FL smaller sites in CONUS and UK and implements the FBM Facility Engineering vision across these US and UK sites.
This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Cape Canaveral SFS, FL , and be expected to work in the office. Basic Qualifications
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: • Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Project Management and/or Construction Management experience in commercial, industrial, government, military or DoD facilities.
• Experience generating and analyzing technical requirements and demonstrated ability to translate to design.
• Experience with the Architectural and Engineering (A&E) design process and experience providing oversite of engineering design packages.
• Prior formal leadership experience.
• Must be able to travel ~10% of time; must currently have or be able to obtain a Passport.
• You will need to be a US Citizen (no dual citizens), and
be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

To be effective, ideally, you should also have:• Control Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
• Weapons system processing and/or manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Seven to Ten Years Project Management and/or Construction Management experience in commercial, industrial, government, military or DoD facilities.
• Experience in the design of civil/structural (building, roads, civil site plans) engineering projects.
• Experience in design, management, and implementation of facility/engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Facilitating design reviews with and understanding of the adjudication and verification processes.
• Experience preparing/reviewing the following facility engineering products: Statements of Work, Facility Design Criteria, Specification documents, and construction cost estimates.
• General knowledge and understanding of related codes/standards. e.g.; Unified Facility Criteria, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and AASHTO.
• Excellent computer utilization skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proven experience creating work products for design, inspection and testing activities.
• Experience integrating systems or equipment into existing process or space.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate/resolve technical issues across multiple teams/customers.
• Budgeting and forecasting labor and non-labor profiles for future projects and support.

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
