What does an Assistant Security Manager in Calgary do?

  • Review all submitted team incident reports for quality assurance.
  • Liaise with client, contractors, tenants, emergency services.
  • Review and export of CCTV footage using digital CCTV systems.
  • Providing excellent costumer service to various tenants.
  • Provide first aid and basic life safety in an emergency situation.
  • Must be able to cover a guards shift on a as needed basis.
  • Coordinating day to day operations as the assistant security manager
  • Responsible for ensuring that security licenses are up to date for bullpen staff.
  • Maintaining Training Matrix and performing other responsibilities as per assigned by the client.

Qualifications to become an Assistant Security Manager in Calgary

  • 1-3 years experience in security supervisor experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Valid Alberta Security license
  • Must be able to work Monday- Friday 0900 - 1700 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow operational security measures, protect confidential information, and exercise good judgment and discretion.
  • Demonstrated comprehension of the Canadian Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act powers of arrest
  • Must have strong customer service skills, mature attitude and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Leadership and mentorship skills
  • Able to work in a team environment or independently as required
