JOB REQUIREMENTS 
Minimum Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training preferred.

Required Licenses

Idaho State CNA License.

Required Certifications

BLS preferred. 
Experience/Additional qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.  Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals. Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.  Basic computer knowledge is preferred. Ability to move or lift patients and equipment. 

 
POSITION DESCRIPTION 

Provides patient care within the CNA scope of certification. When acting as clerk, is responsible for all clerical and receptionist duties on the unit, including computerized data processing. Facilitates the flow of information between medical and nursing staff to maximize unit efficiency.
