Key Performance Objectives (KPOs)

Within your first 6–12 months, success will be measured by:

• Engineer Development: Create and maintain actionable development plans for each engineer—ensuring measurable progress and growth.
• Speed to Value: Improve delivery velocity by streamlining development workflows and removing blockers—measured in reduced cycle time and increased sprint throughput.
• Product Quality: Drive down bugs and production issues—measured by defect rates and support tickets—while raising unit test coverage and code quality benchmarks.

Essential Accountabilities

• Lead the full development lifecycle of complex software features—from architectural handoff through implementation and deployment.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Architects to translate vision into scalable technical solutions.
• Define and enforce modern engineering practices, patterns, and standards (e.g., SOLID, microservices, CI/CD).
• Coach, mentor, and provide continuous performance feedback to engineers—supporting both their technical and career growth.
• Monitor and report on team productivity, capacity planning, and technical debt remediation.
• Influence DevOps strategy by identifying gaps in CI/CD, tooling, and environment readiness.
• Promote a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Performance based Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software development, including 2+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• 7+ years of enterprise software engineering with proficiency in C#, Java, or Node.js.
• Solid hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React or Angular) and databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, design principles, and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage performance, solve complex technical challenges, and deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills—able to inspire, align, and lead cross-functional teams.
