OEM Sales Engineer - HVACR Pumps

Malco Tools is seeking a motivated and experienced OEM Sales Engineer to serve as the primary sales and technical resource for our OEM customers in the HVACR pump segment. This role combines sales and application support, Identification of new business via existing and new customers, project management, and problem-solving to ensure our customers receive the right solutions and exceptional service. The position also plays a key role in gathering customer feedback to help shape future product development.

This is an individual contributor role that thrives on collaboration—working closely with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams. The role operates within The Malco Group’s Traction/EOS framework, which emphasizes clear goals, measurable results, and a culture of accountability.

Essential Duties:

1. Partner with existing and identification of new OEM customers to understand their needs and recommend the best pump solutions for their applications.
2. Provide technical expertise to support the sales process, including training, tools, and resources for the sales team.
3. Act as the go-to resource for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues quickly and effectively.
4. Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of solutions.
5. Capture customer insights and share them with Product Management and R&D to influence future product improvements.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar field or relevant experience in HVACR or OEM experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technical sales or application engineering, ideally in HVACR or Pumps.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to customers.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer focused environment.

Fully remote i.e. home and travel

This position offers a remote work schedule, allowing for a combination of remote work and presence with our customers.
