Overview:
  • Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for an Oracle/AI Developer to support our US Government client.
  • This will be a 100% remote contract-to-hire position.
  • SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain web pages using Oracle MOD PL/SQL packages.
  • Maintain the existing applications and enhance the system as per client requirements.
  • Modify existing batches to incorporate new functionalities.
  • Analyze system issues and devise and execute remediation plans.
  • Perform code reviews and bug fixing.
  • Conduct performance tuning of existing queries and packages.
  • Comply with all required standards and processes and devise approaches to ensure compliance across the team.
  • Provide complete technical and maintenance support to the systems.
  • Run the assigned projects solo as well as working as a team.
  • Provide round-the-clock support as needed for the assigned tasks.
  • Interact directly with the customer on behalf of the team to resolve issues or identify new requirements to be addressed by the team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, database design and administration.
  • 8+ years of PL/SQL development experience.
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining complex PL/SQL code/packages spanning multiple schemas.
  • Extensive Oracle database experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle, Java (Spring Framework), PL/SQL, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, SQL Developer, JDeveloper, Shell Scripting, UNIX, and Linux.
  • UNIX, MS Windows Server experience.
  • Proficiency with UNIX Shell scripting.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools for enhanced productivity.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
  • Be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
  • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
