Responsibilities

  • You will be part of the founding team of engineers in our brand-new tech lab in India! Initially tasked with building the foundations and establishing the best engineering culture of the tech lab, you will eventually be leading and leading a team of 4-8 software engineers to design, develop, test, and ship software that propels the business forward.

    • Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain software that drives Ninja Van's complex logistics operations.
  • Take ownership of the architecture and implementation of major features, modules, and entire products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software on time.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, and integrate third-party services where necessary.
  • Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and team collaboration activities.
  • Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices in software development.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7+ years of industry experience is mandatory.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and libraries/frameworks like React.js and TypeScript.
  • Strong back-end development experience using Java or Golang (preferably Golang).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
