Responsibilities
- Write, refine, and prioritize user stories and acceptance criteria with a strong technical emphasis in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Ensure stories are clear, concise, and actionable for development teams with technical details as much as possible.
- Work closely with business users to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Analyze and translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
- Facilitate regular communication and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in prioritizing the product backlog and ensure that work items are well-defined and ready for development.
- Participate in backlog grooming sessions and sprint planning meetings.
- Support testing efforts by collaborating with QA teams to ensure that acceptance criteria are met.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation reviews to ensure successful deployment.
- Maintain clear documentation on user stories, processes, and changes.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and potential roadblocks to management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role in a dynamic, agile environment.
- Proven ability to write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in environments where the product owner role is shared or “light” in focus.
- Basic understanding of technical architectures and software development processes.
- Advanced English
