Shipping Associate na Moss Holding Company

Description

The Shipping Associate will inspect, package and prepare for shipping a variety of custom exhibit, retail and environment products from Moss production. The position performs both packaging and shipping department functions.

Hourly rate: $20.00 - $25.00

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect product prior to packaging for quality
• Package products using kraft paper, foam, bags, cores and other materials
• Make boxes using a Packsize automated box making machine
• Use strapping machine to seal boxes, some large and up to 75 lbs.
• Package large projects into crates and skid size boxes
• Prepare shipping labels and documents using Moss business system
• Schedule truck and air freight pickups as needed.

Communicates with Project Managers and other internal staff in person, via email and phone regarding shipments

Requirements

• Packaging or Shipping Department experience required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Aptitude to see a custom project and determine best way to package it to protect it during shipping
• Knowledge of FedEx, UPS and truck shipments a plus
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Stand for 8-10 hours per day
• Available to work overtime on short notice
