The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Alternative Investment Funds Investor Services Team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service and administration servicing for our clients’ assigned hedge and private equity funds.

What you will do:

Client Management

  • Establish, implement and oversee controls and procedures that are designed to ensure that services and deliverables to clients are provided accurately and timely. 

  • Ensure the overall quality and delivery of services in accordance with client-specific service model and in accordance with client requirements.

  • Manage the issue resolution process on a timely basis with appropriate documentation and communication.

Operational Oversight

  • Maintain strong and professional working relationships with all internal and external parties including clients, external audit firms, internal operations management team, internal audit, relationship managers, regulatory bodies, vendors and product/solutions team.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory services such as AML, Privacy and FATCA/CRS.

  • Ensure staffing requirements are met by assessing resource requirements, maintaining statistical data and managing the hiring process.

  • Streamline internal procedures/controls by identifying risk areas and service gaps, documenting proposed workflows, implementing/training staff.

Departmental Leadership

  • Strictly enforce established departmental procedures and controls and maintain a zero tolerance for error.

  • Develop, track, and report on key metrics and business drivers.

  • Develop and implement new policies specific to department and administer existing company and departmental policies.

  • Provide strategic and tactical management to Investor Services management teams and operations.

  • Provide and foster team environment to include individual development, promotions and disciplinary action.

  • Serve as an escalation point for staff and relationship teams.

  • Direct and assist with the facilitation of on-boarding of new and converted clients by gathering client requirements, submitting custom requests to the Solutions team, and communicating key deliverables to manager.

  • Work with the Solutions team to drive technology enhancements by identifying technology gaps, documenting technical requirements, researching potential solutions, and implementing new systems.

  • Assist with the ongoing development of service capabilities for the alternative investment product offering in pace with industry demands.

Administrative Oversight

  • Work closely with Legal and Compliance departments on unique challenges.

  • Provide oversight, assistance and serve as a contact with internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies for testing, reporting and audits.

  • Review and approve drafts of internal and external documents including subscription documents, service agreement, and contracts.

  • Review and approve Investor Service specific pieces of cost models for prospects and existing client fund launches. 

  • Identify, interpret, apply and communicate compliance and industry rules and regulations.

Sales Support

  • Support New Business Development by providing assistance with prospect calls, visits, and presentations.

  • Write and coordinate investor services related responses to RFPs and RFIs.

What we need from you:

  • BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in in investor relations, compliance, accounting or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 of years experience supervisory or management experience.

  • Experience working with AML and investor servicing related activities strongly preferred.

  • Experience in managing projects or production schedules related to client on-boarding

  • Experience supervising and managing a team of individuals responsible for producing daily deliverables

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

  • The self-motivation, organization and drive to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality.

  • Ability to produce high quality work and strong attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls.

  • Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with internal and external clients and other service providers.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

  • Strong aptitude for numbers.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

Compensation: 
The base salary pay for this role is $116,000 - $XXX,XXX per year. This position will also be eligible to earn a discretionary bonus each year, subject to company approval.
