Start date: September 2026
Schedule: Approximately Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (working hours can be discussed with the right candidate)
Contract: Permanent, part-time
A private household in Vésenaz is looking for an experienced and trustworthy Housekeeper to support the smooth running of the home. The household is occupied by one adult, while three adult children visit regularly.
This is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone looking to build a lasting relationship with the family. The position has the potential to evolve into a full-time role within the next two years.
Your responsibilities
- General housekeeping and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home
- Laundry and ironing
- Organising cupboards and living spaces
- Grocery shopping and household errands
- Preparing healthy, home-cooked meals
- Ensuring the home remains tidy, welcoming, and well organised
- Providing occasional flexibility when family members are visiting
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Housekeeper in a private household
- Checkable references
- Language : English or French
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, discreet, and proactive
- Comfortable working independently
- Enjoys cooking and preparing simple, healthy meals
- Comfortable around dogs
- Valid driving licence required
- Swiss/EU passport or valid Swiss work permit
