Job Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist ensures accurate inventory management by conducting physical counts, analyzing data, and maintaining records
What You'll Do...
- Conduct periodic physical counts of inventory to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies
- Analyze inventory reports and data to identify trends, forecasts, and discrepancies
- Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize stockouts
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize inventory management
- Monitor and investigate inventory discrepancies, and communicate findings to relevant teams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documentation
Requirements
What You'll Bring...
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflow in a fast-paced environment
