Description:
RMF Engineering, Inc is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in our South Carolina office.
Responsibilities:
- Power distribution, including riser diagrams and panel schedules
- Lighting design, including fixture selection and controls
- Low-voltage systems including fire alarm, security and controls
- Calculate loads, fault current, and voltage drop
- Performing field surveys and construction phase support
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 0-5 Years design experience with electrical systems
- BS in Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited college or university
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally will be required
- Professional registration or ability to obtain professional registration
- Experience with power system modeling and analysis using SKM is a major plus
- Ability to provide own local transportation to the office and local project sites
- Ability to obtain necessary government security clearances may be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Revit and AutoCAD
- PE registration
- Higher Ed and Healthcare design experience
- Experience in power distribution and low-voltage systems
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and standard industry design practices
- Strong teamwork, communications, and client relationship skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
