Forklift Operator - Shipping Department na Clow

Description

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing and processing outgoing shipments to meet customer specifications. This role includes packaging parts, verifying accuracy, recording shipment information in the ERP system, and ensuring products are properly labeled and ready for delivery. Attention to detail is critical, as errors may not be identified until the product reaches the customer.

Shifts Available:

• Shift 13: 4:00am – 2:00pm, Monday – Thursday

Starting Rate of Pay:

• $19.25 per hour base. Relevant experience may increase base pay up to $20.25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Package parts in accordance with customer specifications and work instructions
• Operate scales to accurately weigh and count parts
• Enter shipment details into ERP and generate shipping documentation
• Print and apply labels to outgoing shipments
• Wrap and band pallets to prevent shifting during transport
• Determine which order lines to process based on workflow
• Verify part numbers and quantities prior to shipment
  

Requirements

• Basic math skills for weighing and counting parts
• Ability to use computers and ERP systems for data entry
• Attention to detail when verifying shipments
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Previous shipping or warehouse experience is helpful

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting up to 65 lbs
• Standing, bending, and repetitive packing tasks
• Working in a warehouse environment
