Your role and responsibilities
Within IBM Quantum, the Network & Ecosystem Team is an elite team serving our partners as they research & develop quantum computing solutions for their most pressing business challenges. We keep our partners up to date with the latest technical advances and make sure they are empowered to use our technology.
As a Client Operations Manager, you will be a part of this fast-paced team, responsible for supporting the success of our client delivery operations. You will manage and improve the operational workflow of client delivery across the client journey, in addition to executing client onboarding operations. In this role, you will directly support Engagement Managers with the processes, coordination, and systems needed to deliver high-quality client experiences: This role ensures new clients are set up efficiently, internal teams stay aligned, and operational workflows run smoothly. You will be given significant autonomy and flexibility in the performance of your role and are expected to make meaningful contributions to our business and partners’ success.
Responsibilities include

Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality outputs, and adherence to expectations, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment to achieve client deliverables.

Business Operations Management: Own and deliver scalable operations, operational resources and infrastructure assets to improve the quality and efficiencies of client delivery, includes providing operational support for Engagement Managers.

Infrastructure Management: Management of IT tools, data and resources required for successful execution of client deliverables.

Client Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end operational workflow for client onboarding from kickoff through product adoption, includes coordination and execution of client onboarding activities.
Required technical and professional expertise
-
3+ years in onboarding, client operations, customer success, or project management.

Business operations management with proven ability to architect, optimize and implement operational workflows for efficiencies and speed

Excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrable skillful management of a cross-organizational projects

Project management skills with a commitment to be highly organized, determination to meet deadlines, and delivery excellence

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders irrespective of culture, location, and professional background
Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience executing change management

Familiarity with quantum computing

Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects across geographies

Experience with client relationship management software and tools such as SalesForce
