Perched above Praia da Calada, just 10 minutes from Ericeira, Aethos opened in 2022 as the ultimate seaside retreat. With 50 rooms, a restaurant and bar (ONDA), a heated saltwater pool, and a spa, we are a sanctuary for those seeking both adventure and relaxation.
YOUR ROLE:
We are looking for a dedicated Reservations & Front Office Agent (m/f) to be the first bridge between our guests and their chosen sanctuary. In this hybrid role, you won't just be managing bookings; you will be the architect of the Aethos experience, ensuring each guest's journey begins with clarity, professionalism, and the promise of an unforgettable stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Reservation Mastery: Handle requests via phone, email, and online channels with precision. You will be the guardian of our availability and rates, ensuring every confirmation or modification reflects our standards of excellence.
Front Office Connection: Act as a vital support for the Front Office team, managing agencies and special requests. You will ensure communication flows invisibly yet effectively so that every guest feels expected and welcome.
Memorable Events Support: Provide administrative and logistical support to the Events team. From attendee lists to technical coordination, your role is fundamental in ensuring every event at Aethos is executed flawlessly.
Optimization & Detail: Support revenue management practices (yield management) and maintain rigorous documentation, ensuring all administrative operations contribute to the hotel's success.
Core Competencies & Requirements
Languages: Proficiency in English is essential; additional languages are a significant plus.
Natural Organizer: You possess impeccable attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Experience & Systems: Previous experience in reservations or Front Office is preferred. Knowledge of the MEWS system is considered a strong advantage.
Proactivity & Flexibility: You are someone who anticipates needs and adapts easily to new challenges, always remaining solution-oriented.
