Job Description

The School of Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants for an Open-rank position in the Electrical and Computer Engineering program. Preference will be given to applicants who can also teach in Robotics or Artificial Intelligence (AI), in addition to programming. The position starts in Fall 2025.

Successful candidates should be prepared to teach in both undergraduate and graduate programs.  Please email Associate Dean Anuja Kamat kamata@wit.edu if you have any questions.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Teaching both undergraduate and master’s level Electrical and Computer Engineering courses. 
• Engaging in research and scholarly activity
• Performing service to the university and the profession, which includes academic advising, student engagement, and serving on committees.

Minimum Requirements: 

• M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated success in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Demonstrated success with research and scholarly activities related to Engineering.
• At least 3-5 years of demonstrated practical/ industry related experience.
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related discipline
