Job Description
Purpose of Position: Responsible for the fabrication and maintenance of polyurethane molds and the production of decorative concrete materials such as pigmented powders, tinted liquids, stains, and textured stamps. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality, safety compliance, and continuous improvement. Products are used in residential and commercial applications across North America, including sidewalks, patios, driveways, and interior flooring.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and reporting hazards or incidents.
- Operate production machinery and fabrication tools according to established procedures.
- Support production schedules by fabricating and maintaining molds, preparing batches, and packaging materials.
- Ensure product accuracy by verifying labels, weights, and batch specifications.
- Submit samples for quality control and maintain clean equipment to prevent contamination.
- Assist with general fabrication tasks, including woodworking and mold upkeep.
- Work in varied environmental conditions and handle materials such as sand, cement, and pigments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, warehouse, or production environments preferred.
- Strong woodworking skills and familiarity with chemical handling or product development are a plus.
- Previous experience with decorative concrete products is highly valued.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and lift to 60 lbs. repeatedly.
