Systems Engineer (Contingent) na KIHOMAC

Description

• Support system architecture, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and integration of hardware, software, and data solutions in a secure operational environment
• Develop system architectures using MBSE and DoDAF frameworks
• Support design, integration, and evaluation of wearable and sensor-based systems
• Perform trade studies, requirements analysis, and system modeling
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams (software, cyber, data, hardware)
• Support digital engineering strategies and lifecycle development
• Other duties as assigned

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

Education/Training: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required  

Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
• Experience with MBSE tools (Cameo, MagicDraw, etc.) required
• Familiarity with DoDAF, digital engineering, and system lifecycle processes required
• Experience working with integrated hardware/software systems required
• Experience with wearable systems, sensors, or C4ISR preferred
• Exposure to TAK or tactical systems preferred

Security:

• Must be a US citizen
• Active Top Secret clearance required

Physical Requirements:

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $105,000 - 125,000
