Location/Schedule: Byron, GA / Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm  

Requirements

What You’ll Do:  

  • Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape metal components.  
  • Select, install, and verify appropriate tooling and dies for each job. (program) 
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine bend sequence and requirements.  
  • Assist Monitor machine operation to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional standards.  
  • Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and consistency. 
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake equipment. Inspect finished parts and verify conformance to specifications.  
  • Identify and report material, tooling, or machine issues to supervision.  
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production or equipment issues. 
  • Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies.  
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. 

Who You Are:  

  • Ability to pass a tape measure test.  
  • Proven experience operating press brake equipment in a manufacturing environment.  
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.  
  • Strong knowledge of press brake machinery, tooling, and dies.  
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and take precise measurements. 
  • Familiarity with various metals and their properties.  
  • Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.  
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. 
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.  
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods (8-12 hours per shift). 
  • Ability to work in confined spaces or elevated heights when necessary. 
  • Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity to inspect welds and materials.
