Your role and responsibilities
As a Delivery Project Manager: Generalist, you will ensure that client needs are satisfied through the formulation, development, implementation, and delivery of application solutions in response to client requirements. You will be responsible for the overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements for the delivery organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Manage Project Plan and Budget: Develop and manage the overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements to ensure successful delivery of application solutions that meet client needs.
• Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Manage efforts of IBM and client employees, as well as third-party vendors, to provide an integrated solution that meets client requirements.
• Ensure Contractual Deliverables: Hold overall responsibility for cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, ensuring that client expectations are met.
• Apply Expert Knowledge: Utilize expert-level knowledge of PM methodologies, including SEI/CMM, emerging technologies, and technical architectures, to influence client actions and provide high-quality solutions. Drive Client Satisfaction: Ensure that client needs are satisfied through effective solution delivery, collaboration, and communication.
This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.
Required technical and professional expertise

Expert-Level Knowledge of PM Methodologies: Deep expertise in project management methodologies, including SEI/CMM, and experience applying them to deliver complex application solutions that meet client needs.

Technical Architecture Acumen: Experience with technical architectures pertaining to the client served, with the ability to influence client actions and provide high-quality solutions.

Emerging Technologies Expertise: Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their application in delivering innovative solutions that meet client requirements.

Complex Project Management: Experience managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders, including IBM and client employees, as well as third-party vendors.

Contractual Deliverables Management: Experience holding overall responsibility for cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, ensuring that client expectations are met.

10-15 years experience identifying opportunities to mature, scale, solution and delivery experience in application and infrastructure support within any capital markets clients.
