We’re looking for a hands-on technical leader to drive high-quality cloud security investigations and remediation outcomes for our customers. This role sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise, customer ownership, and team leadership, and reports directly to the Head of Engineering at Tamnoon.

As a Team Lead, Remediation, you will operate as a principal-level practitioner while also leading and developing a team of investigators. You’ll own complex escalations, guide customers through critical remediation decisions, and help define how remediation intelligence evolves across Tamnoon.

Requirements

What You Will Get to Do:

Hands-On Investigation & Remediation

  • Lead complex cloud security investigations across AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Drive end-to-end remediation: from initial finding through validation and safe deployment
  • Apply structured, signal-driven investigation methods (logs, configs, telemetry — not just tools)
  • Validate and refine AI-generated remediation recommendations based on real-world context
  • Ensure remediation actions are safe, scalable, and minimize production risk

Escalation Ownership & Decision-Making

  • Own and lead high-stakes customer escalations end-to-end
  • Make clear, high-quality decisions under pressure and with incomplete information
  • Balance security, availability, and business impact in real-time scenarios
  • Communicate structured updates to customers and internal stakeholders during critical moments

Customer-Facing Technical Leadership

  • Own customer relationships through the remediation lifecycle — from first finding to measurable improvement
  • Lead technical and executive-level customer conversations with clarity and confidence
  • Translate complex security risks into business impact and actionable decisions
  • Challenge and guide customer decisions when needed, while maintaining trust

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of remediation investigators
  • Own performance management, feedback, and career growth for team members
  • Set the technical bar for investigation quality, remediation standards, and decision-making
  • Allocate work effectively and ensure consistent, high-quality output across the team
  • Foster a culture of ownership, curiosity, and practical problem-solving

Systems Thinking & Product Collaboration

  • Identify patterns across customer environments and turn them into scalable solutions
  • Contribute to remediation playbooks, automation frameworks, and best practices
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to improve remediation logic and workflows
  • Provide structured, evidence-based feedback on edge cases and real-world gaps
  • Help shape how AI-driven remediation evolves at Tamnoon

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong hands-on experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Background in remediation, incident response, vulnerability management, or DevSecOps
  • Proven ability to investigate complex cloud security issues and drive remediation end-to-end
  • Experience owning customer relationships in post-sales or operational environments
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring, performance management, or team ownership
  • Ability to clearly explain risk, tradeoffs, and remediation decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong decision-making skills in ambiguous, high-pressure situations

Bonus Superpowers

  • Experience with CSPM / CNAPP tools (Wiz, Prisma, Orca, CrowdStrike, Lacework, etc.)
  • Experience across multiple cloud providers
  • Kubernetes or container security experience
  • Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Python or scripting for automation and investigation
  • Experience working with or validating AI/automation-driven security systems
