Position Description

EIP is seeking a highly motivated individual to be a Senior Account Manager supporting our client, PECO, in Philadelphia, PA. You will act as a representative to PECO and play a critical role in guiding commercial and industrial building stakeholders as they receive recommendations and ultimately implement energy efficiency solutions for their buildings. You will establish and build relationships in local, regional, and national markets, manage and resolve customer concerns, and keep track of customer interactions in accordance with corporation's procedures.

The Senior Account Manager will work with the engineering and energy coaching team to communicate energy audit findings and building decarbonization roadmaps to customers. They will troubleshoot technical issues, determine solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommend solutions. The Senior Account Manager will supervise and oversee the work of the rest of the account manager team and report up to the EIP Program Manager.

 

Objectives of this Role

•           Client Support: Guide building owners, property managers, and stakeholders to help them take advantage of PECO program offerings so they can make energy efficiency and building electrification upgrades.

•           Service Delivery Coordination: Maintain current accounts and develop new accounts for medium-size kWh goals for one or more programs. Responsible for larger, moderate risk, and complex accounts.

•           Outreach and Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with participants in non-residential properties such as commercial and industrial, education, hospital, and other building types, fostering strong connections to the program.

•           Awareness and Education: Increase awareness of resources and services, tailoring messaging to align with the needs of specific audiences and sectors.

•           Data-Driven Improvements: Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts and participant progress, using data to refine strategies and improve program outcomes.

•           Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align efforts, streamline operations, and enhance service delivery to participants.

 

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

•           Account Manager Supervision: Supervise other account managers on the EIP team, ensure the team collectively achieves key performance indicators. Develop, train, and educate incoming account managers.

•           Participant Guidance: Provide one-on-one guidance to participants, helping them navigate the program.

•           Service Coordination: Oversee the scheduling, delivery, and follow-up for energy audits and third-party services provided, ensuring participant satisfaction.

•           Event Participation: Organize and participate in workshops, webinars, and educational events to promote the program and recruit participants.

•           Data Management: Maintain detailed and accurate records of participant interactions, outreach activities, and service delivery, ensuring data integrity and easy reporting.

•           Feedback Collection: Gather participant feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and recommend improvements.

•           Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to align outreach and engagement strategies with program objectives, ensuring seamless operations.

•           Progress Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on outreach efforts, participant progress, and service delivery outcomes to stakeholders and program managers.

Required Qualifications

•           Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, environmental studies, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

•           Experience: Minimum of 2 years in account management, outreach coordination, or sales, preferably within the energy efficiency and clean energy sector or related fields.

•           Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.

•           Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and private sector partners.

•           Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

•           Passion: A genuine commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and environmental justice.

 

Preferred Qualifications

•           Knowledge: Familiarity with Local Law 97, energy efficiency programs, and sustainability mission and services.

•           Sector Experience: Experience working with affordable housing, city and state outreach, or sales, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within these sectors.

•           Technology Proficiency: Skilled in using project management tools, office software, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
