Accounts Payable Clerk na Foresight Energy

Description

Foresight Energy is looking for an accounts payable clerk to process invoices for payment in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner for all companies assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day to day activities for full cycle A/P process.
• Match supplier invoices with approved electronic purchase order receipts in SAP (3-way match).
• Send non-PO invoices to the appropriate personnel for approval.
• Code and enter non-PO invoices in SAP.
• Review invoices for sales tax liability and accrue or add tax to invoices as appropriate.
• Work with purchasing departments to resolve any discrepancies between invoices and receipts.
• Investigate and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Send out checks to vendors from weekly check runs.
• Maintain accounts payable files.
• Provide accounts payable related data to auditors.
• Assist in 1099 review and preparation.
• Assist with other projects/tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, positive attitude.
• Detail oriented approach to work with solid organizational skills.
• Good problem identification and problem solving skills.
• Good understanding of sales and use tax.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Coal industry or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Benefits

Compensation at an attractive hourly rate of $26.26.

In addition, there's potential to earn bonus based on safety, production metrics, and attendance.
