Job Summary:

Native Wound Therapy is passionately dedicated to providing advanced wound care solutions to rural and underserved populations. We're seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operations and help drive the continued growth and innovation of our services. The COO will be integral in aligning our operational goals with our mission and vision, ensuring that we maintain high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

As the COO, you will oversee all operational aspects of the company, develop strategic initiatives, and monitor performance to enhance our ability to deliver quality wound care services effectively. You will work closely with the executive team to ensure that all departments operate cohesively toward common objectives, promoting a culture of excellence and continual improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth while maintaining quality standards
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient management of resources and adherence to regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with the executive team to define company-wide goals, monitor progress, and report results
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation among staff to enhance performance and satisfaction
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to ensure the financial health of the organization
  • Identify potential areas for operational improvement and implement necessary changes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues, providing solutions and support to other departments
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competition to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of wound care innovation
  • Represent the organization in negotiations, conferences, and community engagements to promote our services and mission

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operational leadership roles, preferably in the healthcare or medical services industry
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution, with a strong understanding of healthcare operations
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify and address operational challenges
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to the mission of serving rural and underserved populations
