About the Clinic

We partner with a boutique psychiatry practice in Beverly Hills specializing in advanced treatments for depression and related conditions. Unlike traditional high-volume medical offices, our clinic sees a small number of patients each day. Each visit lasts several hours, allowing us to provide an amazing, personalized treatment experience to every patient. Our environment is intentionally designed to feel more like a wellness sanctuary than a typical medical office. The quality of the patient experience is central to our mission.

Position Overview

The Patient Experience Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring patients feel comfortable, supported, and cared for throughout their time in the clinic. This role blends elements of hospitality, patient concierge service, light clinical support, and clinic organization. This position is designed for candidates seeking a long‑term professional role. It is not intended as a short-term pre-medical or gap‑year position.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Experience & Hospitality

  • Enable amazing patient experiences every time they visit the clinic
  • Greet each patient warmly and help create a calm, welcoming atmosphere
  • Engage in comfortable dialogue with each patient while they are getting settled in so as to help them feel comfortable and foster a warm bond (the patient relationship is essential as patients typically return to the clinic frequently for many weeks or months and the bond they form with the team enhances the patient experience)
  • Get to know each patient’s likes and dislikes so you’re able to provide a more personalized experience including amenities such as drinks, snacks, blankets, pillows, slippers, and reading materials, as well as adjust lighting and music options to suit their preferences.
  • Maintain the clinic's calm and beautiful environment
  • After each patient departs, ensure rooms are restored and remain spotless, organized, and visually pristine

Clinical Support

  • Assist the doctor and patient during treatments
  • Measure and record basic vitals (blood pressure and pulse oximetry)
  • Document basic monitoring information

Clinic Operations

  • Monitor supplies and inventory
  • Order and restock clinic materials
  • Maintain organized storage and supply systems
  • Assist with mail processing as needed

Provider Relations & Community Outreach

  • Support the clinic’s community outreach efforts by assisting with scheduling networking lunches with therapists and physicians
  • Assist with social media and networking elements (LinkedIn outreach, Meta posts, etc.)
  • Help plan, organize, and conduct, periodic open house events in the clinic
